Are the apartments furnished?
All of our apartments are fully furnished. Each includes a sofa bed, towels, linen, LCD TV (DVD player upon request), refrigerator, washing machine and cutlery.

Are the apartments centrally located?
Our apartments are located The Arcadian, a 2 minute walk from the Bullring in Birmingham City Centre.

What booking deposit is required?
Currently a 20% deposit is required in order to secure a booking. This will be charged when the booking is made.
The balance on the booking will be charged upon arrival.

What is the Prepay and Save rate?
This is a discounted rate only available when you book 14 days or more in advance and prepay in full. No amendments or refunds can be processed if the reservation is subsequently cancelled.

When is payment of the balance required?
Any outstanding balance will be charged upon arrival.

Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a deposit of £200 is required at check-in. This will be fully refunded provided the apartment has been left without damage, and with all apartment accessories intact. Unfortunately debit cards can not be used for your security deposit.
stayBirmingham.com reserves the right to charge the cardholder and/or guest(s) for any damage caused by the guest or any of the guest's party. A full inventory check of the apartment is carried out before the guest's arrival and after the guest has departed. Any damage to the apartment, or missing or damaged contents will be charged to cardholder and/or guest(s).

Are there any other fees or charges?
Phone charges (where available) are charged by usage. All other normal charges (electricity/gas/water/heating etc.) are covered in the nightly charge. Excessive usage of electricity may result in an extra charge to the cardholder and/or guest(s). To avoid exceeding the electricity allowance, we request that guests turn off any appliances/lighting/heating when not in use.
Please ensure that apartments are left in good condition - all waste placed in waste bin, and all crockery, cutlery and utensils washed. Otherwise, an additional charge of £25 will be applied.

PLEASE NOTE: IN LINE WITH THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF OUR CUSTOMERS' WISHES, ALL OF OUR APARTMENTS ARE STRICTLY NON-SMOKING. A £50 CHARGE PER NIGHT WILL APPLY IN THE EVENT THAT SMOKING OCCURS IN AN APARTMENT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation of a reservation will be effective only from the date of receipt.
Deposits paid are non-refundable. Prepay and Save rates are non-refundable.
Cancellations must be made by e-mail to cancellations@staybirmingham.com. Confirmation of cancellation will be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. Client and Booking Agent does not guarantee that emails sent to it are received. It is Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation. Cancellations may be liable to the charges outlined below. Depending on the reasons for your cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges from your insurance company, if you have taken out travel insurance. We strongly recommend that all clients obtain appropriate travel and personal insurance cover.
- Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours prior to midday (Irish time) on the day of arrival, and received by email to cancellations@staybirmingham.com. No further charges will be made for cancellations received prior to this deadline, other than the loss of any deposit paid.
- If Client notifies of cancellation within 48 hours, or fails to arrive, the full amount will be charged and is non-refundable.
- Cancellations are not permitted on Prepay and save rates.

What is meant by self-catering apartment?
A self-catering apartment is not serviced daily, as in a hotel. Additionally, cooking, cleaning and washing are done by the guest. However, for stays of more than one week the apartment will be serviced once weekly. If additional cleaning is required, this can be arranged at an extra cost.

What is a Breakfast To Go voucher?
Each voucher is redeemable for a takeaway coffee/tea + breakfast roll in Urban Kitchen at Hurst Street located 1 min walk from Arc Apartments.

What time is check-in/check-out?
Check-in is at 14:30, and check out is at 11:00 am. Depending on the availability of the apartment, you may be able to check-in to your apartment earlier than this, though this cannot be guaranteed. The cost for this is £10.
As we need to have access to the apartment to service it prior to the arrival of the next guest(s), we request that guests leave the apartment by 11:00 am on the day of departure.
Subject to availability, an afternoon/evening check-out may be arranged at £10 per hour up to 3pm.

Can a booking be extended?
Subject to availability, a booking may be extended. However, we cannot guarantee the same nightly rate. Generally, extra nights will be charged at the rates applicable at the time.

Is Car Parking available?
Yes, we offer parking facilities at our Arc Apartments at a cost of £11/day, subject to availability. The Car Park is located in the Arcadian Centre on the 3rd floor (apartments are on 2nd floor). Yes, you can leave your luggage in our secure lockers for £2/locker.

How many sets of keys can we have?
Currently we give 1 set of keys for our 1 Bedroom Apartments and 2 set of keys for our 2 Bedroom Apartments.
